Mortgage Business Expo North 2026
Curvestone CEO Dawid Kotur joins the Practical AI for Your Business: Part Two panel in Theatre 2 at 2:20pm, alongside Nivo, JammJar, Sikoia and Rosemount Financial Solutions, chaired by The Wealthy Advisers Club. The day also features a Bank of England keynote, CPD-accredited seminars and The Broker Awards: North West.

Curvestone is heading to Manchester. Our CEO, Dawid Kotur, joins the panel for Practical AI for Your Business: Part Two at Mortgage Business Expo North 2026 on Thursday 9 July, taking the stage in Theatre 2 at 2:20pm.
The panel
Chaired by Terry Blackburn, founder of The Wealthy Advisers Club, the session brings together five people building and using AI in the mortgage market today:
- Dawid Kotur, CEO, Curvestone AI
- Matthew Elliot, Co-founder, Nivo
- Karl Griffin, Founder & CEO, JammJar
- Stephen Simmons, Co-founder & Chief Data Officer, Sikoia
- Zachary Bawa, Sales Director, Rosemount Financial Solutions
It follows Grow with Google's Practical AI session earlier in the afternoon, and picks up where the theory ends. Expect a grounded conversation about what AI is actually doing inside broker firms, networks and lenders right now: which use cases are delivering, where the pitfalls sit, and how to adopt AI in a regulated business without cutting corners on compliance.
That last point is where Dawid will spend most of his time. Curvestone works with mortgage networks, lenders and brokers to review case files, check documents and evidence compliance automatically, so he sees daily what separates AI that stands up to FCA scrutiny from AI that creates new problems. If you are weighing up where AI belongs in your advice or lending process, this is a good half hour to invest.
The rest of the day
MBE North is one of the key dates in the intermediary calendar, and the 2026 programme is a strong one:
- A keynote from Ken Clark, Deputy Agent for the North West at the Bank of England, opening the seminar programme with a macroeconomic outlook on the UK housing and mortgage markets
- Panels on residential mortgages, buy-to-let, bridging, protection and later-life lending, with speakers from HSBC, Santander, Lloyds Banking Group, Nationwide, Accord, Atom bank, Keystone, Fleet Mortgages and more
- Hands-on Grow with Google sessions covering digital growth, social media and AI
- The Broker Awards: North West, in association with The Intermediary, running from 3:15pm straight after the show
The whole seminar programme is CPD accredited, entry is free, and lunch is on the organisers.
Come and say hello
Dawid will be around the show for most of the day. If you want to talk about AI in your compliance or case-review process, or just put a face to the name, get in touch before the day or catch him after the panel. See you in Manchester.
